Unit split information enables the University to assign the units taught to one or more AOUs for load and resource distribution purposes. Details contained in this report affects University funding, the distribution of funds to Schools and students HECS. Hence, it is very important that these details be as accurate as possible. The figures in this report are aggregated at the Highest Level - University Level is the highest without any other attribute included in the aggregation.

This report generates a list of Courses for a selected Unit, grouped by their owner AOU with actual Enrolments and Load. Parameters available for selection are Year, Reporting Point, Taught Load Campus and Funding Source.

The sum of load taken by international students in a first major coursework programme expressed as a percentage of all load taken by students enrolled in the programme.

07 All Coursework Taught Load by AOU

The sum of taught load associated by an AOU to coursework students. Reported at AOU level and aggregated up to the Divisional level using Programme and other reference data specific to the latest year.

The EFTSL load associated with International On-shore and Off-shore students in a first major coursework course. Reported at the course level and aggregated up to the AOU and Divisional levels using course and other reference data specific to the year.

42 Total EFTSL and Percent of Postgraduate Coursework Student Load

The sum of load associated with students enrolled in a first major Postgraduate coursework course. Reported at the programme level and aggregated up to the AOU and Divisional levels.

20 Percent 1st Preference Applications

The percent Murdoch first preference TISC applicants for a Course divided by the total number of Murdoch TISC applicants (1st through 4/6th) for the course.

13 AOU Taught Load Student Progress Rate

Student Progress Rate Broad FOE

The Student Progress Rate (SPR) indicator is a measure of the likelyhood of a student passing their units of study. The indicator can be aggregated at a number of different levels, for example AOU, unit, course, FOE, etc.

This indicator is measured using Student TLC Unit Survey Responses. The percentage of students who "overall agreed" with the statement: Overall, I was satisfied with the quality of the unit.

AOU Taught Load

This report displays the taught Load by AOUs and Funding Source. The load is grouped at the Funding Source level and aggregated up to AOU and Divisions. The load is also split in to the 2 halves of the year: Semester 1 and Semester 2. Reporting Point is the only parameter.

TER Analysis by Course (Murdoch enrolled via TISC with a real TER and Categories I, L, M, N & O)

This report displays the Murdoch TISC Enrolments by the TER Group. Population included: Enrolled at Murdoch; with a Real TER (i.e. no bappered ranks or assigned values); and Application Categories I, L, M, N and O. The report parameters are AOU and TISC Course. The underlying data have been extracted from the TISC.

TER Analysis Browser (Enrolments in Murdoch Courses via TISC)

This tool provides TISC enrolments by TER Group, at the TISC Course level, aggregated up to the AOU level. The report parameters are: "Admission Year", "Real TER" indicator and "Application Category". The underlying data have been extracted from the TISC.

TER Analysis by Course (All Murdoch enrolments via TISC)

This report displays the Murdoch TISC Enrolments by the TER Group for year 2007. It also displays whether the TER is Real or not. Population included: All. Application Categories: All. The report parameters are AOU and TISC Course. The underlying data have been extracted from the TISC.

AOU Taught Load by MFM Cluster

This report displays the taught Load by AOUs, Funding Source and MFM Cluster. The load is grouped at the Cluster level and aggregated up to Funding Source, AOU and Divisions. The load is also split in to the 2 halves of the year: Semester 1 and Semester 2. Record Year and the Reporting Point are the parameters. Note only "CGS" and "International Fee-paying On-shore" will have MFM Clusters.

TISC Candidate Statistics - Postcode/Locality (Permanent Residence Address) Distribution by Course

This report displays TISC Applicant Statistics by Permanent residence address Postcode/Locality for a selected Course.

Load (EFTSL) and Weighted Load (WEFTSL) by AOU

This report lists the active teaching Units with their actual EFTSL, WEFTSL, MFM Cluster and Weighting grouped on Division, AOU,Broad FOE (Level 4) and Unit. The report parameters are Year and Funding Source.

Load by Faculty, AOU and Level

This report lists taught Load (EFTSL) by Course Level grouped by Faculty and AOU. The Level is the Type of Course: eg Research, PG, UG, etc. Report parameters are Reporting Point and Funding Source.

Course Load Weekly Trend (pilot)

This report generates a weekly Load (EFTSL) trend by Course grouped by Faculty and AOU. Report parameter is the Year. The data are cross-tabulated by the Funding Source. The format and content are subject to review pending user feed-back and requirements, thus the report is flagged as "Pilot".

This report generates a matrix of Load (EFTSL) and Enrolment by Course Campus and Taught Load Campus, grouped by AOU. Report parameters are the Reporting Point and Funding Source.

Load Weekly Trend

This report generates a weekly Load (EFTSL) trend by Funding Source. The data are cross-tabulated by the Date of the beginning of each week (Monday). For the past years this Date has been mapped to the Date of the current year, using the closest date. Note that a Student Load projection is made only for the Funding Sources CGS, International On-shore and Postgraduate Coursework.

TISC Candidate Statistics - Offers by School

This report generates TISC Candidate Statistics grouped by University and Secondary School.

Course Enrolments by Age Group - Level, Location, Commencing & Domestic/International

This report displays Course Enrolments by Age Group. The Courses are grouped by Owner AOU and Division. The parameters are Year, Reporting point, Course Level, Course (enrolled) Location, Commencing Status and Domestic/International status.

EFTSL, Income and Expenditure for Top Units

This report shows unit level EFTSL, income, expenditure and surplus/deficit both in dollar terms and in dollars per EFTSL ($/EFTSL) for the top (or lowest) units in a selected Division or School.

Unit Income Expenditure Statement

This report is used to evaluate the income sources and type of costs for delivering a unit – identifying the proportion of salary/non salary costs, and the proportion of unit level, school level and division level costs, etc.

This report is used to evaluate the income sources and type of costs for delivering a course – identifying the proportion of salary/non salary costs, and the proportion of unit direct, school level and division level costs, etc.

Expenditure by AOU by Staff Category

A report analysing the expenditure within each AOU by staff category (i.e. - Academic, General, etc).

This report generates a historical trend of candidate Weekly Statistics. Dates of the Weeks correspond to the most recent year for which the data are available. Other years' data may not exist for all the dates of the most recent year.

TISC Weekly Statistics - Yearly Trend

This report generates a Yearly trend for the selected Date (Week) of the parent report "TISC Weekly Statistics - Yearly Trend by Week".

Load Profile by Funding Cluster

This report generates a time-series trend of actual Load (EFTSL) by Funding Cluster. Reporting Point, Taught Campus and Funding Source are parameters. Weighted Load is only applicable to CGS and International On-shore. The Cluster Weights used are of the latest Funding Model, applied and compared to Load retrospectively. The new DEEWR cluster relativities are informative rather than deterministic.

TISC Weekly Statistics - Trend by FOE and Course

This report generates a time-series analysis of TISC candidate data by Broad Field of Education (BFOE). BFOE can be drilled through to diplay Courselevel information. However historical Course mappings are not available for all the years.

This is a time-series tool that displays Enrolments and Load by Divisions with Drill-down functionality into AOU and Course. Clicking on the Course will jump to the report "Course Load and Enrolment Analysis" for a detailed analysis.
